It is with great pride and pleasure that I announce today that As Was Written will return to the stage September 28. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 18.

The live event filled with talented, original poetry, prose and song is back in action with a fresh new lineup of folks, including: Jeff Maurer, comedian and writer from New York who was a semifinalist on the seventh season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing; I’m Leaving You, sketch comedy group from Carrboro and Wilmington, North Carolina; Katie Dill, talented songwriter vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Newark, Delaware; and Minhaj Arifin, author of How Desis Became the Greatest Nation on Earth, from Fairfax, Virginia. John-Mark (who recently released his first short story collection, I Want You To Be My Second) and I will also be doing our thing, per usual. We’ve also got more to come.
